We’re starting off this list with one of the ultimate classics when it comes to board games. Love it or not, you have to play Monopoly at least once in your life. These dark and cold days are perfect to play a good ol’ game of Monopoly. Already bored with the classic version? Try Star Wars Monopoly or the Disney version. There’s even a Game of Thrones Monopoly!
In need of a fun game to play with a lot of people? This game is perfect! 2 teams need to play against each other, so this is the perfect time to battle against your boy- or girlfriend, mom, dad or your best friend! Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of all the agents, but their teammates only know the agents by their codenames. By giving one-word clues, spymasters have to make sure their teammates get as many words correct as possible.
Fancy a night full of laughter and fun? Taboo is the perfect game to play with people of all ages, which makes this game an absolute must for Christmas! Get your team to say a particular word, but avoid certain words that have a direct connection to the topic! Sometimes it’s hard, but it’s a very fun game to play.
Another classic board game, is Trivial Pursuit. In this well known game you answer different questions to get a piece of the pie. You win the game by gathering all pieces. There are a lot of editions to discover! For example Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit, Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, etc…
One of our favorite games to play, is Exploding Kittens. This game doesn’t take long and guarantees a lot of laughter and fun. Collect as many cards as possible, but watch out and don’t get the card with the exploding kitten. This game is our team’s favorite!
Cards against Humanity
Last but not least, there’s the party game for horrible people, as they like to call their own game. One player reads out the question or a fill-in-the-blank phrase; all the other players choose a card from their own deck to complete the sentence. The funniest card wins! This game is a #1 best seller, so you can be sure it will be a good one. This game should be yours!
